Thank you for registering with the Jefferson City Theatre Talent Database and showing your desire to get involved with live theatre in our community. Your information is now available to all five Jefferson City theatres (Capital City Productions, Scene One Theatre, Muse Theatre's Itsy Bitsy Broadway, Stained Glass Theatre and The Little Theatre of Jefferson City.) It will be used to plan future workshops, crew recruitment, emails regarding casting calls or audition announcements, and anything else related to live theatre in our city.

Jefferson City has a very robust live theatre community. There are currently five companies bringing the community multiple productions every year. While this does provide quite a lot of opportunities for actors, singers, dancers, writers, technicians and those interested in managing or directing productions, it also means that there is often a shortage of these skills and talents in many areas of a theatrical production for any given theatre group at any given time.

The purpose of this database is to provide our fabulous community theatres with a resource to draw upon when help is needed. If a theatre is thinking about holding a workshop, they can look here and see the amount of interest there is among the community in learning specific skills. Or if a specific skill or talent is needed for a production, they can look here to see if there are any names on the list who have that particular skill or talent. And by registering, the general public can make themselves visible to the theatres and possibly be considered to work on a production.

To this end, the Jefferson City Theatre Talent Database will hopefully become a valuable resource for our theatre groups as well as for those registering their names.
